I purchased this along with an ear cleaner because I wanted to ensure that my ear was actually clear of any earwax. Not only did it do just that, but it also proved to help me determine other issues with my ear. The easy-to-use device allowed me to catch a tear in my ear canal that I otherwise would not have discovered. Downloading the app and connecting the device to my phone was extremely easy. I was afraid that I would nto be able to do it again but, voila, it connected easily. This device is an ear cleaning game changing. Do not simply my cleaning solutions without this device which helps you prove that your solutions are working. If I could give another star, I would.
My husband's ears were blocked with some dark chocolate colored earwax but whenever I told him he didn't believe me, saying he cleans his ears regularly. I have seen him cleaning his ear he must've been doing just around the entrance. So, I got him this for Christmas. I really enjoyed 'I told you!' moment on the very night that we got this. My husband was nervous to go that much deep inside but watching the screen he let me. We couldn't believe how much earwax could be on both his ears. It just kept coming out. Now that both of his eardrums are exposed, I hope he can lower his voice!
The lighted ear scope /camera with ear wax removal tool works great. I bought this item when I could not find the more traditional ear otoscope we had, and I have to say this one is so much easier to use! You can really see into the ear, and the thin flexible probe is absolutely painless. My 2 ear old grandson just sat and watched his cartoons with no complaint while his mother cleaned both his ears with this tool. I am very pleased with this purchase!
This otoscope is portable, easy to use, and is very convenient. To be honest, it can be used for more than just ears. For instance, I had a sore throat, so while not advised at all, it was easy to see what issues I had in the back of my throat and was able to take pictures to show a doctor what i had. As for it's actual use, so easy to connect to an app, provides high quality clear images, and also so useful to be able to take those pictures to see whatever issues you come across in your ear canal. The manual was simple to follow and overall, for this price, it's a quality tool that I can see using anytime I have an issue.
