I purchased this item because I was looking for a meat tenderizer with some weight to it that I could throw in the dishwasher. I have ditched my aluminum one and never looking back. I have already used this product a handful of times and it seems to hold up well in the dishwasher with no signs of rust or damage. It also tenderizes meat effortlessly.

As long as it doesn't leave gunk on my food, rust over time, and I can throw it in the dishwasher, it should serve its purpose just fine. Price is better compared to other stainless steel tenderizers
